Event Date: September 12, 2020 To December 31, 2020
The year 2020 has been difficult for everyone in so many ways. But for those living without a safety net, it has been catastrophic. What progress has been made could be lost for years to come.
Children who might have been in school are in danger of dropping out and falling behind forever – they don’t have the means for remote learning. With unemployment and underemployment, more children are being forced to work. One of the great ironies of this world is that we have both unemployment – and child labor. Because children are cheap labor with limited protections. Job loss and remote learning also mean more girls might be forced to drop out and either be trafficked or be forced into early marriages.

The CRY walk is virtual this year, but I promise to walk 5K at least 5 days a week for the next month!
