Special screening of ‘Lion’

CRY Orange County presents a special screening of ‘Lion’ followed by a discussion addressing human trafficking.

A five-year-old Indian boy gets lost on the streets of Calcutta, thousands of kilometers from home. He survives many challenges before being adopted by a couple in Australia. 25 years later, he sets out to find his lost family (IMDb).

After the movie, we will have a guest speaker from Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force, and will discuss how Human Trafficking or “modern day slavery” is impacting Orange County and near-by areas.
