Paloma’s Campaign for Children’s Education

Education stands as the key to unlocking children's potential, offering a pathway to a brighter future. Through this campaign we are raising funds to support CRY America, a non profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of marginalized children in India through education.

Every child has a right to a dream of a better future. Education helps make these dreams come true. I have set up this fundraising page to raise funds so we can give underprivileged children in India an opportunity to complete their education and lead better lives. Approximately 1.17 million children are currently out of school in India, working instead of attending a classroom. 29% of girls drop out of school before completing their elementary school education. This is due to problems such as poverty, gender norms, infrastructure gaps, teacher shortages, and policy inequities. All these problems lead too health issues, unemployment, and high illiteracy rates among adults. Currently, almost 20% of adults are illiterate. 

Raising funds for CRY will help children who are currently out of school re-enroll, provide students with study materials, and protect them from child labor and marriage. 

Education is more than just learning; it is the foundation upon which these kids will build their lives upon. Educated students will break the cycle of poverty and provide their children with better lives as well. Your donation will help them do this.
